beautiful little hotel very clean, beautiful, cozy and newly furnished rooms (also suitable for allergy sufferers) The landlady is very nice and helpful. She is always available for questions. We didn't miss anything during our stay. The location is great to reach nature and / or larger cities like Passau or Regensburg quickly and to have a look at them. An extensive and delicious breakfast can be booked the day before if you wish. The price-performance ratio of the Dorfschänke is absolutely justified. We felt very comfortable during our stay and will definitely come again! SIMPLY TOP!

Nice little hotel. Very friendly and helpful owner and employee. Enjoyed delicious dinner and breakfast. Breakfast is not included in the room price, but for (currently) € 8.50 p.p. available on request the day before. Nice beer garden with a fountain, unfortunately on the thoroughfare.

Super dear landlady who responds to all wishes. Very clean, cozy and modern rooms. Price / performance is completely the same. Shops, hiking trails and a petrol station are in the immediate vicinity.

This place was so lovely and amazing. Ms. Melanie speaks wonderful English and will help you out whenever you need. She cooks tasty, hearty, local meals, and the beer selection is on point (as is the wine and schnapps). The rooms were very airy, tidy, clean, modern, and perfect for a couple. Our room had a separate bedroom, a room with a enclosed kitchenette (complete with fridge, cook top, sink, and eating area), and a pristine bathroom. The windows could be opened fully or tilted. Outside of our room was a pleasant landing which we shared with other guests where we could drink coffee or step out onto the balcony for a smoke or a breath of fresh air. The TV in the room was new and had a variety of channels of you like to doze to the TV. Ms. Melanie prepared us breakfast and dinner, as I said, the menu was wonderfully local and delicious. The only negative thing was you might prefer to have a car to drive into town. There were several small places to walk, but a taxi wasn't too much trouble to call and get. The area was quiet and we enjoyed watching the little goats across the street (who never made much noise at all) and the lovely outside beer garden. Overall this made our trip 10/10 would stay again!
